Welcome to the News Section!

Hello friends! My name is Khadra and I'm the News Editor this year!

Welcome new and returning volunteers! I'm so excited to work with all of you!(So sorry I was AWOL all summer, I spent it studying for my MCAT!)I hope everyone had a great week back at (virtual) uni! Now that we've survived the first week back, it's time to get started on News writing!!!

I hope this time work for most of you! News meetings have to be on Monday because you will need the full week to interview and write your article! If this time doesn't work for you, send me an email and we can figure something out! If this time doesn't work for the bulk of you, we can try to find a new time!

I know this a unique semester and some of you may be international students, so please feel free to reach out if you would like to meet outside of this time! I'm always willing to go over the presentation and pitches from that week's news meeting afterwards!

Due to the long weekend, there

will not

be a news meeting on Monday.

However, if you are eager to get started, please shoot me an email and we can arrange a zoom meeting sometime this week!

If you are a returning volunteer looking to get back to writing this coming week, let me know and I can send you a couple of pitches!

Don't forget about the Gateway's Open house!! This is a great way to meet all of the Gateway staff and learn more about how the Gateway works! I would really love to see some of you guys there!
