Hello everyone! Hope you are all enjoying your fall semester!

A few announcements about upcoming things:Open House- We will be holding our first open house of the year on Tuesday, September 10 at 5pm. The open house is a fun opportunity to learn about what the Gateway does and meet me and the rest of the staff, if you haven't already! There will be free pizza and a $150 prize draw so come check it out!Photo Meetings- I will begin holding regular photo meetings every Wednesday at 4pm at the Gateway office (SUB 3-04). The first one will be on September 11. Photo meetings are where you can pick up photo pitches, learn more about photographing for the Gateway and meet other photo volunteers! Hope you can make it!Magazine pitch- For the November magazine, a writer is doing a piece exploring the history of UofA buildings. I'm looking for a volunteer who wants to take photos of old buildings around campus! I will provide more details to whoever is interested. - Keep in mind that you should have contributed at least 5 times (whether that is writing and/or photos) to the Gateway when shooting for the magazine.As always, let me know if you have any questions.
