Ahoy photo-mateys! Shiver me timbers—a photo meeting on the horizon!⛵

The first photo meeting of the semester will happen tomorrow (Friday) at 3PM! I'll start with a quick icebreaker, go over the photo guide, dish out some pitches, and answer any questions you may have!This time & date had the most votes in the poll, and almost all of you chose Zoom over Google Meet.

The photo section is a great opportunity for volunteers to contribute to the Gateway with their visual skills. All photographers, including beginners, are welcome.Photo meetings will often have important info about subsequent meetings, workshops, and events. It will also be the first look (so you can get first pick) of the photo pitches every week! Come learn a few things about photography and pick up some pitches.

Unsure about what you're supposed to do as a photo volunteer? Don't know what a "pitch" is? Worry not! Check out this quick guide that covers the basics of the Gateway's photo section. If you read the photo guide last year, this one has some new info in light of COVID-19.I will go over this guide tomorrow during the first photo meeting.
