Exciting things!!!!
Hey all!Apologies first off for not sending an email last week; SU elections has been hella hectic and the pitch email slipped away from me. I do have exciting news for you all, though!I know I've been railing on people about hiring and stuff since January, but we're having a HIRING INFO SESSION this Friday at 5pm! We'll be chatting about all the available positions you can apply for, including management positions (online and managing editors), line editors (news, opinion, arts & culture, and photo editors), staff reporters, and business manager! We'll also be there to answer any questions you have. There'll be free pizza too! So if you wanna work with us (and with me!!!!!), come on down! There's also a volunteer survey circulating! It's anonymous, quick, and you have the chance to talk about your experience working as a volunteer, working with me, and if there's anything you'd like The Gateway to do differently! It's incredibly valuable for us to have this feedback, so please it fill it out ASAP! Other than that, I just have one pitch, given how crazy elections have been... but feel free to pitch something out to me if you'd like!

Feeling unsafe in downtown Edmonton? You're not alone, report says
A new report done by the Downtown Business Association

You can a look at the report, evaluate the issues raised, and perhaps talk about initiatives to help alleviate the problems.
