I hope all of you are able to take advantage of sleeping in, and catching up on coursework.In case you were wondering, the regular section meeting yesterday was cancelled so that everyone could get a break. Are COVID-19 restrictions protecting essential workers effectively?
The safety of essential workers has been in question since the beginning of COVID-19. Currently, there are outbreaks at eight meat processing plants in Alberta, the possibility of truck drivers being exposed across the border, and concerns of further spread. These workers are usually forced to take on multiple jobs whose COVID policies differ on a case-by-case basis. Is this system working? Should these workers get priority for rapid testing, let alone vaccines? Give us your thoughts with this column!

Is it (finally) time for a BearTracks upgrade?
