Edmonton Public Transit washrooms all closed According to the city’s transit safety and security report, majority of the 30 public washrooms in transit stations have been closed due to safety concerns. Write a column about the lack of public washrooms and the implications this has on our city. Does closing public washrooms actually improve safety?

Weekly case counts this semester have been much higher than last semester. It seems like many students are having to miss class due to catching COVID-19 during this extremely busy time. Interview some professors or students about missing in-person classes right before we head into finals.

As COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, many people are noticing the amount of violent crimes that are seemingly rising in Edmonton. In recent weeks, there has been a shooting, shots being fired, and drug overdoses and poisonings deeply affecting all corners of our city. Write about what has changed, and what the city should do to ensure safety in Edmonton!

Butterdome finalsAs finals are approaching, how safe do you feel about writing finals in-person? Should more online options be given?

Ualberta proof of enrolment feeUntil last week, proof of enrolment has always been a free service on Beartracks. Now, each time students want to access their proof of enrolment, they have to pay 10 dollars. As well, they only have access to the document for thirty days. With tuition increases, how will this further affect students? Is it fair for the U of A to charge its students for this?
