Another Valley Line Southeast delay frustrates transit usersThe LRT line, which was originally supposed to open in 2020, has been delayed indefinitely. Many transit users are frustrated, since many routes were cut down or removed entirely to eventually be replaced by the LRT line, which still isn’t open. Explore what went wrong with the project and how these developments will impact students!

Over the span of two years, over $15 million will go towards the Healthy Streets Operations Centre in Chinatown. However, over $10 million will go towards policing, effectively reversing the changes made to the police budget to address the root causes of issues facing EPS and Edmonton. Will Edmonton benefit from police receiving more funding, especially in Chinatown? Or will the high-police presence only harm people living there?
