Restructuring post-secondary programs after massive budget cuts 

Since the UCP cut funding to post-secondary education drastically, we’ve seen many universities restructure their programs to fit their new budgets. The U of A combined many faculties, while the University of Lethbridge is considering merging the drama and music departments. How has the restructuring impacted the lives and studies of university students? Have there been any significant changes so far, or was the change beneficial to students? Not enough ambulances and paramedics to cover Alberta

Because of the pressures of the COVID-19 pandemic, there aren’t enough ambulances or paramedics to help sick or injured Albertans, with some people waiting over an hour for help to arrive. Surrounding municipalities are having to send their paramedics to help Edmonton and Calgary, leaving their citizens stranded. What are the possible implications of this? Was this impact on the healthcare system avoidable?
