I hope everyone had a great first week of classes and is enjoying the long weekend!

The Gateway is hosting our Open House tomorrow!

We will have

3 in-person open houses with limited capacity to ensure social distancing. Students interested need to register in advance!Our in-person open houses will take place:

• Tuesday Sept 7th, 11am - 12pm

• Tuesday Sept 7th, 4pm - 5pm

• Tuesday Sept 7th, 7pm - 8pm

• Friday Sept 10th, 11am - 12pm

• A new student-led academic journal showcases undergraduate research in arts!

• UAlberta professors Kim TallBear and Jessica Kolopenuk have created an online course addressing increasing demands for Indigenous governance in STEM.

• UAlberta Law has an alumni magazine, Without Prejudice! Interview an organizer of this magazine!

• UAlberta researchers Dr. Sue-Ann Mok and Dr. Trevor Steve for being named 2020 Future Leaders in Canadian Brain Research! Interview them on this honour!

• UAlberta Arts is hosting an Arts Work Experience Info Session on September 15th! Interview one of the organizers on what students can expect from this event!

• UAlberta research on cell migration could improve understanding of how breast cancer spreads

• A UAlberta project has developed wearable monitoring technology that aims to help patients with respiratory issues.

• Interview Billy Strean from the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation about the health effects that come from sitting for extended periods of time
