Hello everyone!!!Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a good long weekend and is settling into classes nicely! Here are the announcements and pitches for the week! AnnouncementsThe Gateway is hosting two open house events this week, so come by our office to learn more about how to get involved with your official campus newspaper! Our open house events are today at 5:00 pm and Wednesday 2:00 pm! Location: Our open house will be happening in our office, which is located on the third floor of the Students' Union Building, accessible via the elevators. (Room 3-04)At our open house, you'll learn about how to volunteer with The Gateway, meet the staff, and get the chance to ask any questions you may have!  News pitches

  • New U of A research shows that Edmonton has “urban heat islands” with significantly higher temperatures than surrounding rural areas in both summer and winter.
