I hope you all had a great first week back :) News is winding up, we just had our first meeting of the year and it was great to see so many new and old volunteers come out and take stories.Let me know if you want to take any of the pitches below, no experience necessary! Interview the Autonomous Robotic Vehicle Project, a group of students who make RoboSubs and enter them in competitions.

Profile WILDNorth

Find out if any students work for WILDNorth, the bird rehabilitation centre, and interview them about it!

There used to be a high school on campus?

This is weird, but my mom told me that one of her coworkers went to high school on the U of A campus... I think this would be interesting to look into. You could also interview my mom's friend about it hahaha

WISEST is celebrating their 35th anniversary

WISEST, a U of A organization that tries to recruit women into science and engineering, is having their anniversary party on Oct. 12. Talk to them about their work and preview the event.
