Hey everybody — Areeha here! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our News meetings today! Here are the pitches left for the week:  

  • A new trail camera project at the U of A aims to study wildlife activity in southern Alberta! Interview one of the researchers behind this work!

  • UAlberta Libraries have a new self-checkout system using on-site iPads or via the SUPER NEATO app! Interview someone from U of A libraries about this system!

  • The U of A is having Free Application Days. First Nations, Métis, or Inuit students who apply to the University of Alberta from September 30 - October 6, will have their application fee waived.

  • Ian Chisholm, a U of A alumni, is speaking at the Lougheed College Lecture series about Mentorship in Complex Times! This talk is taking place on September 22 2021 from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

  • There is a new partnership between The Ottawa Hospital, the University of Alberta, and BioCanRx to collaborate on manufacturing vaccines, gene therapies, cell therapies, and more!
