Hey everybody — Areeha here! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our News meetings yesterday! Here are the pitches left for the week:  

• Interview the candidates running for council in papastew! There are 7 candidates in total, and this would be done in a Q&A format!

• U of A researcher Monty Ghosh is part of a team receiving $2M from Health Canada to fight the overdose epidemic. Dr. Ghosh is also a winner of the 2021 Alumni Horizon Award for young leaders! Interview him on this!

• The U of A Department of English and Film is holding a virtual Meet & Greet with their 2021-22 Writer-in-Residence Ifeoma Chinwuba! This is on October 6th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.

• Interview Christian Fotang, the UASU's VP External, on how students can vote in upcoming municipal elections!
