Hey everybody — Areeha here! Hope everyone is doing well! Here are some pitches for the week:   UAlberta Art & Design alumnus Kev Liang ('21 BFA) is a regional winner of the 19th annual BMO 1st Art Competition! Interview him on this honour!  A new ELITE program allows Black high-school and undergraduate students to gain hands-on experience in STEM fields!  UAlberta research shows how anemia can generate different immune responses in females vs. males! Interview Dr. Shokrollah Elahi on this!  The Mechanical Engineering Club is holding a Seminar Series featuring professionals speaking on their work and professional experiences! Interview the club on this series!  First year students in the FoMD thanked healthcare workers with chalk messages on the sidewalks outside of the Royal Alex and U of A hospital! Interview some of the students behind this gesture!  Edmonton Ghost Tours are offering U of A Ghost Tours until October 31st! Interview the organizers of these tours!  New dispensers for free menstrual and period products have opened up on campus! Interview someone from the UASU on this initiative!
