  • U of A's Dr. Lorne Tyrrell was chosen for the 2022 Hepatitis B Foundation's Blumberg Prize!

  • The U of A joined peer institutions across Canada in signing the Scarborough Charter on Anti-Black Racism and Black Inclusion in Canadian Higher Education.

  • A U of A second-year medical student was part of the 2022 class of Canadian Rhodes Scholars, in one of the most diverse cohorts to be elected! Only 11 scholars were elected across Canada!

  • The Centre for Constitutional Studies and U of A Faculty of Law is holding a lecture titled 'Is the Constitution Flawed or Are We?' virtually on Wednesday November 24, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM!

  • Dr. Bukola Salami, an associate professor in nursing was named one of Canada's top 25 Canadian immigrants in the Canadian Immigrant Awards!

  • Mahmoud Elghiaty, a Cancer Research Institute of Northern Alberta (CRINA) trainee at the U of A, has won the Rachel Mandel Scholarship in Lymphoma and other Blood Cancers.
