The U of A is hosting Jude Kong, York University professor, in a talk about present models for estimating and forecasting greenhouse gas emissions from tailings ponds and end pit lakes. The talk is on Wednesday March 30 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
A U of A professor was among 500+ academics worldwide who signed a letter calling for universities to ban fossil fuel funding for climate change-related research. Interview him on why he signed this letter!
