  • Pharmacy students are helping with the COVID-19 vaccine rollout! Interview a student about their experience!

  • The No Cops on Campus are holding an open information session/ discussion on March 18 (Thursday) at 10 am. You could cover it!

  • Four U of A radiation therapy graduates surveyed practicing professionals to get perspectives on how to improve care for patients in the LGBTQ2SPIA+ community

  • U of A researcher Sangita Sharma is leading a project working with communities in the Northwest Territories to co-create a culturally appropriate program encouraging more people to get vaccinated against HPV

  • The university has now officially hired a Sexual Assault Prevention Coordinator! Talk to VP student life Katie Kidd who headed this project!

  • Protective masks are safe to wear during both moderate and heavy exercise for most people, according to a team of Canadian and U.S.-based researchers who reviewed the available evidence

  • Regular exercise may help new and expecting moms stave off depression during the pandemic, according to new findings from a U of A study

  • The library is no longer able to afford RefWorks and is canceling the subscription! Might be worth talking to them about this and any other possible services they can no longer afford.

  • An engineering professor is being awarded for his creative ways of teaching, such as getting students to think about Thanos' solution in Avengers Endgame and creating a course based on Mythbusters. Profile him!

  • The U of A Library has successfully raised enough money to digitize a local magazine "See Magazine" so that it is archived and publically available!
