  • Chris Cairo, a chemistry professor, and his research team found that a group of enzymes could offer clues to understanding inflammation and eventually finding new ways of treating it.

  • U of A students are working with the Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta to turn survey data into meaningful solutions.

  • The U of A, University of Calgary, and University of Lethbridge have formed a Quantam City Partnership, to create a hub that accelerates progress in quantum technology. This hub received $23 million in funding from the Government of Alberta announced today.

  • Two psychology students have created an online platform for exposing injustices in Canada where people can safely share their experiences of racial and social injustices.

  • A research team led by a University of Alberta scholar has received nearly $2.5 million in new federal funding for a national research project aimed at reforming the Canadian justice system.
