• Two psychology students have created an online platform for exposing injustices in Canada where people can safely share their experiences of racial and social injustices.

• A research team led by a University of Alberta scholar has received nearly $2.5 million in new federal funding for a national research project aimed at reforming the Canadian justice system.

• Sustain SU's Campus Community Garden has opened up again! Interview someone from the garden on this!

• The U of A is building 8 new tennis courts on South Campus, scheduled to open in Summer 2023

• Sayak Dirghangi, a fourth-year environmental and conservation sciences student, developed a solution for northern Canada's food insecurity problem by growing food locally in greenhouses

• Cree educator and researcher Dwayne Donald is one of the U of A's nine newest Canada Research Chairs, he will explore locally rooted Indigenous knowledge in teacher education

• Julie Rak, an arts professor, is the author of a new book that addresses sexism and racism in mountaineering and expands on narrow historical narratives

• Three U of A engineering students have developed a mobile app that tracks the progress of a healing wound
