Hey everybody, Areeha here!I hope you are doing well and enjoying this warm-ish weather we've been having recently! ๐ŸŒฅFirstly, here is a quick announcement:We are looking for illustrators! More urgent: We need a header for the Comic Stans column! Take a look at the Gateway to Gastronomy columns and Eating Edmonton header photos โ€” something simple and on theme! Less urgent: in about half a month, we will be publishing the yearly Purity Test! We are seeking illustrators to make one illustration for this.   • U of A diabetes researchers are reporting early success in a first-in-humans clinical trial to test whether pancreatic cells grown from stem cells can be safely implanted and begin to produce insulin.
