Hey everyone! Hope you are all practicing self care during the chaos of midterm season! Hang in there, there's only one week until Reading Week! If you have any questions, or would just like to chat (and complain) about midterms, feel free to shoot me a message me via Slack, or via email at [email protected]!
Here's some things we covered during today's meeting!
ELECTIONS! If you're interested in covering elections, please shoot Khadra a message! Elections consist of six candidate races, and some plebiscites and DFUs that we need to cover! Forums happen over a week and a bit, and happen throughout the day, so we'll need a lot of volunteers to help cover it! So please, please, please consider volunteering! It's such a fun experience (even though it'll be virtual this year)!
There is a guest workshop this week from Jason Herring, former student journalist, current journalist at the Calgary Herald! He will be talking about how to get into journalism and will also give out some writing tips! It'll be on Thursday at 5:30 pm!
