Hey everybody — Areeha here!I hope you are doing well, and studying for finals is going well! Make sure to take lots of breaks during this stressful time!Today's pitch meetings were our last meetings for the Fall semester! Cover a virtual webinar on Tuesday Dec 7th at 6:00 PM answering questions on COVID-19 vaccines for children.
The provincial gov't granted a $55.1M grant for U of A research on ways to prevent and treat COVID-19, including $15 M for vaccine projects and $10 M for studies on antiviral drugs.
Engineering grad Willow Dew has earned a memorial scholarship from Polytechnique Montréal!
The Institute of Prairie and Indigenous Archaeology works to support Indigenous communities and help them find unmarked graves. They are currently crowdfunding to support the work.
Four U of A Law graduate students are the recipients of Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarships in recognition of their impressive academic achievements.
U of A Museums have a number of virtual exhibitions! Interview them on what students can learn from these!
