I hope everyone is having a great end of their summer, and getting ready to go back-to-school in a couple of days!

  • Edmonton's notable Soaring mansion, twhich was gifted to University of Alberta, is to be demolished. Interview the U of A's spokesperson on this decision. 

  • Interview U of A biology grads Alessandro Palci and Aaron LeBlanc on their research on the evolution of snake fangs!

  • Nutrition researcher Catherine Field from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry has received $4.8 million in funding to find out why diet affects immunity!

  • A U of A researcher is working to capture the power of sunshine to boost canola yield for western Canadian farmers.

  • Interview the Marketing & Promotions Campaign Coordinator of the Golden Bears & Pandas on their new marketing campaign!               

  • University of Alberta researcher Patricia Dolez is working on sensors that can detect when firefighters' protective clothing is no longer safe! 

  • $2.85 million was awarded to a project led by U of A neuroscientist Sanjay Kalra to accelerate and support ALS research!
