News meeting reminder feb 11 (copy 02)

Hi everyone, I hope you all have had a good reading week!

Just a reminder that there will be a news meeting tomorrow at 3 p.m.! It's also the first day of elections campaigning (yaaaaaay!)

For those who were interested in doing news coverage, but weren't able to make it to the elections meeting earlier this month, or were away during reading week and weren't able to do candidate Q&As, this is your last chance to talk to me about doing news stuff during the elections! Again, elections coverage is a huuge part of the volunteer experience, and I'd hate for everyone to miss it.

Oh, and if you are interested in doing news stuff during elections, please let me know which debate forums are you able to make it to =] There's practically one every day this week so we can use all the help we can get.

I won't *just* be talking about elections stuff though. There will be a few non-elections pitches and I'll be talking more about how The Gateway covers local politics! So please show up if that interests you!
