Here are some photo pitches:These are due Saturday night (sorry about short notice)(As always please let me know before you go ahead and take any of these assignments)

• A photo of curly fries

• A photoshop masterpiece creation featuring "the Whyte Ave Gondola"

• A photo or illustration of money (the article is about tuition)

• A photo or illustration of "hostile design" on campus (see this link - http://www.whoiswelcome.info/ )

• We are always looking for photos and illustrations to throw in the media bank that generally represent U of A so send me your pics of iconic buildings and of students walking around.

Here is a photo show update:

Hope you are all starting to think about what you are going to submit. Keep in mind that if you intend to print on large format photographic paper, most places take a few business days to do these. I've listed a bunch of places where you could go to do these prints in the submission form link.I've also realized that we are kind of limited with our potential to hang huge frames in Dewey's, so if you have work that is just printed on photo paper that might be a little bit easier for us to display. Ideally you could mount with glue or tape on to some matte board or stiff paper.If you have already gone ahead with the huge frames or canvas wraps, that is fine, we can prop them up on something, and I am enquiring about getting a few art easel things for the bigger stuff.But yeah, remember to submit your work printed and ready along with this submission form by the end of the day on Wednesday April 4, 2018 to the Gateway office in SUB 3-04.
