Calling all writing enthusiasts...

Magazine meetings are here!

Hey folks! For those of you who haven’t met me, my name is Christine McManus and I’m the Managing Editor at The Gateway. This year, we’re introducing Magazine meetings, so volunteers have the chance to get more actively involved with our monthly print magazine. 

 We will do feature writing workshops, talk about how the magazine works, and explore all the different types of written content that our magazine has to offer. There will also be new pitches or calls for content every meeting.

Magazine meetings will be happening every second Thursday at 4 PM, at our office in SUB, starting September 12th. Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve written for the magazine before or not. If you’re interested in regular article writing, long form articles, creative writing, or interactive content, this is the place for you. I hope to see many new faces there!
