There is a new Mooc launching this summer called Bugs 101- the focus of this course is to explore entomology to better inform citizens about human-insect interactions in the context of climate change and global biodiversity. The course is free to anyone anywhere in the world with an internet connection but also available for credit for U of A students. U of A prof Roger Dixon (psychology) is leading a U of A branch of a national research project focused on preventing neurogenerative diseases like Alzheimers and dementia.
