Research/ Institutional 

• There is a new Mooc launching this summer called Bugs 101- the focus of this course is to explore entomology to better inform citizens about human-insect interactions in the context of climate change and global biodiversity. • U of A prof Roger Dixon (psychology) is leading a U of A branch of a national research project focused on preventing neurogenerative diseases like Alzheimers and dementia. • Microbiology and climate change- U of A prof was part of an international paper that focuses on the connection between microbes and climate change and how ignoring this relationship can be really detrimental! Contact: Katie Willis: [email protected]
