Electrical emergency alert on Monday is evidence of the larger issues with the electrical grid

It's time to talk about it: the electrical grid in Alberta. It isn't big enough to support our population, especially in the winter, and the electrical emergency alert on Monday only served as further proof. People are in danger when they don't have access to electricity in extreme temperatures, and poor people are more at risk than anyone.
