Hey Multimedia Volunteers!

Sorry for the late email, our listserv isn't working right now. But that doesn't matter, cause I made a super fancy email for y'all :)The end of the year is almost here, so I decided to send out my last few assignments if you're interested in helping out! I've got a couple of videos still in the works, but this is basically what's left. I've mentioned most of these in previous meetings, but send me an email if you wanna help!

I also wanted to remind everyone that Paige and I will be merging our meeting times today (Wednesday April 2) to host a wee party for the A&C and Multimedia sections. Come join us in RATT at 3:30 for a pint of beer or pop to celebrate all of your hard work this past year.

Also, the Gateway always releases a joke issue at the end of the year. The multimedia section is expected to make one or two videos (and maybe a podcast!). I'll give you all an update on the theme soon, and then we can brainstorm on video/audio ideas.

Last Photo: University of Alberta (Wednesday April 2nd or Thursday April 3rd this week)

I was inspired by a video series called "Last Photo" made by a guy named Ivan Cash. Ivan asks people to share the last photo on their phone and tell a backstory. I want to do a U of A version, and I think it could be really interesting/funny. If you haven't already seen it, check it out here:https://vimeo.com/81688267

University of Alberta Bucket List (Now-April 9, 2014)

I'm doing a video version of the feature from this week's paper. Here is a shareable google doc with the list of possible things you can film:

Put your name next to the one(s) you're interested in doing or email me. I want this video to be finished by April 9th, so I need everyone's help! Most of the activities are super fun! We've already done a few (go to Dewey's, Go to Garneau, Drink Coffee at Transcend), but there's many more that need to be done. Feel free to add anything too if you feel the need. Last Day of Classes (April 9, 2014)

What do most people do on the last day of classes? Party!!!! I wanna catch some interviews with students in Dewey's, RATT and Hudson's on Campus on April 9th. Shannon Kovalski (next year's Multimedia Editor) is interested in doing some interviews, but we can always use more people (especially for filming).
