Hello News Team!I hope everyone had a very restful holiday break! After that semester, I think we all needed one! Today isn't only the first day of the winter semester... it's also the first news meeting of the semester! News meetings have been moved to 4:30 pm, as this is the time people voted for on the doodle poll! If this time doesn't work for you, please send me an email or dm on slack and we can figure out a plan to keep you up to date with everything! I will also make sure to post all presentations on the slack channel!Today's news meeting will mostly be checking in after the holiday and pitches! I'm also asking volunteers to bring in a writing/volunteering goal they want to accomplish for the semester! I'm not a big fan of new years resolutions, but I think setting a few goals will help us all grow as writers! We'll take time to share our goals so that I (and even fellow volunteers) can figure out how to support you in achieving these goals! I will also be coming with a few goals myself! If you don't feel comfortable sharing in front of everyone, you can also send me a dm on slack and we can go over your goals privately!
