Election time!!!

It's that time of year folks!Elections are a time of fun and fancy, but also gut-punching, revolutionary takes on student government for the opinion section.If you came to the elections meeting, great! You may have already even picked up a race to cover. However, if you weren't there or didn't pick up a race but were interested, fear not: you still have time.There are two races left for individual coverage: the vice-president of operations and finance, and the Board of Governors representative. If you're interested in covering either of these races, or even a DFU or plebiscite, you can just shoot me an email, and we can talk about it further from there.In terms of outside coverage, there will be general concepts to write about throughout elections as well! If you notice anything peculiar or interesting about elections, you can always pitch me the idea, because coverage is not limited to specific races. 

The elections experience is one of the most fun, fast-paced times at The Gateway, and it's my favourite time of year. If you're interested in journalism, student politics, or just having a good time with The Gateway, you should definitely consider writing for elections.
