Recurring Columns:
The Hobby Hole: Tell us about any unique hobbies you have or give a fresh take on an old favourite. It could be a passion project or an activity you do when you want to lay back, unplug your brain, and watch the hours fly by.
Paddling up the Livestream: Wax lyrical about your favourite livestreams, put us onto some hidden-away gems, or give your hot-takes on livestream culture!
The First Time: Try something totally new and write about your experience. It could be a cuisine you’ve heard great things about, an unfamiliar type of music, or an activity you've never tried before. Tell us about it all from the POV of a complete novice.

Pitches for the Week:
Check out the in-person exhibits from DY3CORPIA!The exhibit is at About Light in Edmonton City Centre until October 17. The Gateway previously covered this immersive virtual exhibit, so it would be a great chance to check in!I could also get an interview if you'd be interested, but it would be a chance for some cool photos as well!
Attend/preview Night at the Horrorwitz!The events include a virtual escape room, pumpkin carving, games, and free candy! The free virtual escape room is for 1-8 people and designed to be escaped in about 45 minutes. You will need to RSVP for a time slot.On Oct 27 and 28 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. there will be games and candy. On Oct 29 you can swing by and grab a pumpkin for carving!Let me know if you'd be available to preview the events, in which case there would be a fairly tight turnaround, or you could attend and let us know how it goes!

Artist Harley Morman and curator Lindsey Sharman will present a virtual tour of Let's Do the Time Warp Again. The exhibit explores time through image-making.There will be a live Q&A afterwards, so this is a great opportunity to ask interview questions if you would like!
