New week, new pitches right from the hen.
This week brings in many new pitches, some of which are very interactive and I would love to attend myself if I was in Edmonton! Feel free to pluck a pitch (I'm trying my best with the puns) and let Jin know through an email or Slack!

Attend and Review Streetfest!Partnered with the Works Arts and Design Festival, StreetFest returns to Edmonton at Churchill Square with a lineup of performances ranging from hula hoops tricks to hockey tricks.There is potential for an interview with people working on the festival, so let Jin know if you'd be interested in reviewing the event running from July 8th-17th!
Walk through Whyte Avenue Art Walk!Several independent artists are going to be present throughout the Streets of Old Strathcona presenting their artworks for people to purchase from the 8th-10th of July.
Let Jin know if you’re planning to attend and maybe we can figure out some interviews with some of the artists present!
Review Kaeley Jade Wiebe's New Single Poltegriest!
Kaeley Jade Wiebe is a proud Métis Multidisciplinary Artist who is based in Edmonton, she recently released her new single Poltergeist.
If you're interested in reviewing the single, and talking to her or anyone involved we can try for an interview!
Have a Laugh at Grindstone Comedy Festival!
Some of Canada’s top comedians, sketch groups and improvisers are coming to Edmonton. There will be Stand-Up Stand-ff Competitions, Open mic Parties and more!
If you want to go and have a good laugh this week you can review the event in an article. Maybe we can set up an interview with those involved!
Interview King of Foxes! King of Foxes is the musical project of Edmonton's Olivia Street. She released the music video for "Only Here On Loan" on June 8, which features 15 costume changes, 12 different make-up looks and seven wigs. If you're a fan of indie-alternative music that's local to the city, let me know if you'd like to talk to King of Foxes and I'll set up an interview!
Interview someone involved with Clue!Running from July 16 to August 7, Clue is the newest production from Citadel Theatre. Inspired by the 1980s movie, this comedy production keeps you guessing whodunnit throughout the play until the final twist!Let me know if you'd be interested in talking to someone who worked on this production!
