Scarborough by Catherine Hernandez has been shortlisted for CBCs Canada Reads 2022! The book tells the story of Scarborough, the fourth-largest city in North America and a low-income, culturally diverse neighbourhood east of Toronto.There are virtual copies of Scarborough available for review, and Hernandez is also available for interviews.

Attend and review the Black Futures Market
The Black Futures Market, hosting 15 vendors, to kick off Black History Month will be happening inside the Art Gallery of Alberta for free from February 5 to 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Shoppers can browse locally handmade goods, artworks, and items created by Alberta's Black community.Media are invited to attend the market on February 5, preferably between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. for interviews, photos, and video opportunities, so let us know if you're interested in going!

Review some (or all) of the shops in the Sweet Treats & Latte Festival in Old Strathcona!17 different coffee shops and bakeries joined together for this year's Sweet Treats & Latte Festival! All of the shops are around Whyte Ave for ease-of-access. Go to one, some, or all of the shops and review the drinks and treats!
