It's an Arts pitches kind of day! đź¤©

Not only am I out of clever one-liners, but this is also a pitch email

Hey Arts pals! I hope you're all staying safe and healthy right now. I know you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed in these crazy times, but remember to take some time for rest and self-care.I've got a few important announcements for this week, so let's get right to it. First, The Gateway is looking for Deputy Line Editors! These are going to be volunteer positions where you will get a chance to spend five hours a week working with either the News, Opinion, or Arts editor. If you're interested in working for The Gateway in the future or if you just want to be more involved with the work that goes on behind the scenes, this is a great opportunity. Keep an eye out for the job posting that will be going up on our site soon, but let me know if you have any questions about becoming the Deputy Arts and Culture Editor! We're also beginning to look for submissions for the January issue of the magazine. This January is the one year anniversary of the Flight PS752 crash that killed ten members of the U of A community. In honour of the victims, their families, and the university community, the theme of our magazine will be "Resilient Communities". Let us know if you have an idea for a story about resilience in your own community or in larger society and we would love to feature it in the print magazine. Also, if you haven't yet checked out our online store but still want to get your hands on some #GTWYSWAG before the holidays, find it here. That's all for this week, but make sure to check out this week's pitches! And now, as always, the recurring columns:
