Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Hi volunteers! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. We're looking forward to seeing you all back at The Gateway again when the fall semester starts. With that said, there is an important update that we need to share with you.Some of you may have been receiving pitches from Jake this summer. As of June 8th, 2019, he is no longer working at The Gateway. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Andrew, our Editor-in-Chief at [email protected]. He will do his best address your concerns, though he may not be able to answer everything regarding the situation.In the meantime, my name is Tina and I'm currently the Online Editor. I will be stepping in as the temporary Arts & Culture Editor for a while and be the one making edits on your articles! Spider Man: Far From Home

Spider Man: Far From Home just dropped in theatres recently. Whether you are a fan of the MCU, a fan of Tom Holland, or if you know absolutely nothing about this film, you can do a review!I've heard some spicy things about it, especially in regards to continuity issues from Avengers: Endgame, so there's lots of opportunity for you to flex your writing skills here.

Fringe is baaaack...almost.

The annual Edmonton Fringe Festival will be back in mid-August. The festival showcases over a thousand local and international artists!

Theatre performances, comedy, drama, magic, and so much more! If you (or even with a few friends) would be interested in exploring Fringe, let us know and you could be given a special media packet to officially review the festival this year!
