Arts and Culture pitches! (August 30)

Arts and Culture Pitches!

First week(ish) of school pitches!

Hello friends! (See what I did there?)

Hope y'all are enjoying the back-to-school spirit in the air and the incoming eClass course emails. Seeing so many people doing campus tours and the Main Quad getting built up for Week of Welcome gets me excited for the semester ahead.

Speaking of Week of Welcome, the Gateway staff is

tabling at Clubs Fair

so come say hi and spin the wheel to get some cool prizes!

We also are on track with our newspaper distribution of our

fall special issue of The Gateway

(yes you read that right!) so you will see some of the copies on the stands as you walk through the North Campus hallways. Try out the fun crossword after reading the articles made by the lovely Gateway staff!

Check out the leftovers and new pitches for this week!

Pitches for the Week:

Tell us your Week of Welcome experience!

Whether you're a seasoned UofA student or a newbie on campus, there's always something fun to check out with new and old friends. You can write about your experience as a whole or you can be more specific about the events you went to. I, for one, am very excited for the free pancakes and the free stuff at Clubs Fair.

Share your tips and tricks for a UofA back-to-school guide!Have a solid back-to-school routine? Share your go-to playlist that will pump you up for the coming months ahead, your uni school supplies staples, and/or your advice for incoming students who haven't been to UofA (in person or otherwise). The more submissions from y'all, the better this back-to-school guide will be!
