New pitches are in this week, very musical ones! All of them are definitely something to attend, if you do... consider writing about it! Yet don't forget to enjoy your last month of summer!
Pitches for the Week:

Light up Concerts: Experience Candlelight! In the upcoming weeks, there are several candlelight-lit classical concerts, they’ve been performed around the world and are now in Edmonton! One to look forward to is A Tribute to Adele concert on August 4th, performing her greatest hits.

Carnival performances come to EdmontonFrom August 5th to 7th Cariwest Caribbean Arts Festival will have performances in downtown Edmonton Churchill Square. Filled with costumes, live entertainment, different cuisines, a marketplace and even a kids corner it will be an event to not miss!

Attend Edmonton Folk Music Festival!
Are you into Folk Music? If yes this event is already calling your name, if not, why not try something new? This festival will be held from 4th to 6th August and will feature many well-known Candian Folk artists as headliners.

Anime Heaven: Animethon!
This year’s Animethon will be from the 5th to the 7th of August and alongside the usual anime screenings being held, there will also be guest voice actors from North America, musical artists from Japan as well as improvisation groups and a costume contest. Truly a place you’d want to be if you like Anime.

Adventure Book Album Release!
Francois Klark has recently released his new album Adventure Book. His music is one that seamlessly blends Pop, Neo-Soul, and Electronic elements with organic and orchestral sounds.
If this intrigues your curiosity write a review with a potential interview with him or someone involved! Let Jin know you're keen on taking this pitch.
Edmonton's Fringe Theatre Festival is up-and-running, better than ever!Fans of theatre know this festival well, and it's coming up again this year pretty soon! Running from August 11 to 21, take this chance to interview some organizers, or even some Fringe performers ahead of the big event!


Celebrate SNAP Gallery's 40th birthday!To celebrate 40 years of SNAP Gallery, they are launching an anniversary showcase. This showcase will highlight a variety of prints that showcase prolific skills, methods, and techniques explored at SNAP throughout their 40 years of operation. Running from August 6 to September 17, there is ample time to check out this exhibit, but make sure to let me know if you'd like to talk to an artist featured or the curator!
