AGM and Volunteer Appreciation at 5:00pm

Hello y'all!I hope you are doing well and that everyone is enjoying a well-deserved break after finals.I'm reaching out to invite you to our online Annual General Meeting (AGM) tonight at 5pm. As a registered not for profit society with Societies Alberta, we are required to host an AGM every year. If you have written or contributed art/photo for our website or magazine, you are more than welcome to attend!Below is the Zoom link for the AGM:https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81200151504At the event, we'll provide an update on our operations and on our finances for the past year. Additionally, we will vote for two volunteer representatives to sit on our Board of Directors. These representatives attend monthly board meetings of the Gateway Student Journalism Society and assist in making long-term decisions about our organization. The positions are important to the functioning of the Gateway and it's a great way to get further involved with student journalism on campus!Finally, after the AGM is over, we will hold a volunteer appreciation event to celebrate all the hard work that you put in this year. Volunteers are the heart of our organization and we could not be more proud of the work everyone has done this year.
